Interesting sights from around the Atlanta area

Seeds from Tucker palmetto. It produces heavily each year and the ground is covered with seedlings beneath the parent tree.

Live Oak planted near Rhodes Jordan Park, just east of downtown Lawrenceville. Unfortunately, this tree was removed by the city in 2002.

Windmill Palms in Decatur. These are among the oldest to be found in the Atlanta area and were planted some time during the 1960s.

More Windmill Palms in Decatur.

Bamboo in Decatur.

'Mystery' Gardenia in Suwanee. This 6' tall shrub has survived the subzero cold of the 80s and continues to thrive.

Customer's water garden planted with Lotus, Cattail, Coleus and Elephant Ear's. Very cool!
